Just so we have at least one sports league going, I think we should start the football (sakkā) one first Shûya, as it's your nation, how many teams should we have? Most micronational leagues have between 6 and 10 teams, just so you know

I think 6 should be fine. Do you think everyone could own a team too?

Yeah, definately. As long as everyone wants to own one, of course

Kiriyama, would you be interested in getting a league started again? It doesn't have to be football, we could maybe have baseball as thats popular in real-life Japan

Baseball is indeed popular in Japan, but so's football I don't have the ability to run a baseball league (it's not really a sport I'm interested in, if I'm honest), but there is actually a Micrasian Baseball League which is starting-up over at the Bastion, which we could get involved with. In addition, I could run a small football league if I find the time, if you're interested, too

Good point! The baseball league in the Bastion Union sounds like a good thing to join actually. Would we have to be on Micras first? What would we have to do for it as well? I would be pretty interested in that too. I like football and it looks like others are interested as well, so it could be a way to get to know other people and nations without being too formal

I think being on Micras is indeed a requirement for the MLB, although the last activity it's seen was in January, so I'm not sure anything's happening with it just yet. Having a team there would mean we'd have to be responsible for all players, so naming line-ups, signing new players and choosing those who play in the "minor" team. Like I said, I don't know much about baseball, so you might be able to make more sense of things here Oh, definitely. Having some friendly matches would help with integrating with the wider "Micrasphere" and further cultural events. So, should I take it you're interested in going forward with a league (or at least a small cup competition to begin with)?

Oh thats a shame. I understand most of that stuff, but I don't follow baseball that closely either. Could you ask around and see if the league will be going ahead, then we can maybe enter a team if possible. Whatever you think would be best for us to begin with I'll give you permission to setup. Just let me know the format and I'll help with the teams. For friendlies, would a game versus Craitland work as our debut?

Sure! Hopefully we'll be able to get involved if they're still running it! I reckon we just go for a knock-out cup to begin with. We can maybe start with quarter-finals, so eight teams, and then play two legs in each round. That'll total 14 matches, if you think that's enough to begin with We'll have to claim on Micras to play a friendly first, but that's our next step anyway!

Thankyou! OK that sounds good to me. We obviously don't want a lot if were just starting out Well, we should get onto that as soon as possible then
